Its coooolllld!!! :(

The weather has turned cold and miserable here in Sydney which sucks coz I know now its gonna start getting warmer back home!! Quite a bit has happened in the past month. Will explain briefly then stick some pics on. Sorry I havent updated in ages but have been soooo busy working I havent had much time.

Amys Bday was on the 22nd March and we all dressed up as cartoon characters/super heros. We had Rainbow Brite (Amy), The Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland (me), Alice in Wonderland, Batman and the Riddler, Peter Pan, Fred Flinstone, Lara Croft and more...it was a fab night. We got a limo to this club and partied all night to the wicked House music!!! Me and Amy have also got ourselfs jobs at this club promoting it which is cool. And it means free entry and free booze (wahooo!!!) so we have made lots of friends who also work here and stuff which is all good.

My mate from Perth (shane) came down for Easter weekend which was cool so had fun with him and bumped into a face from home (Ryan Flemming) which is pretty random. Had a couple of BBQ's with Amys family over here and with friends and been chilling most nights really.

My job has become full time now as one of the girls left so I only get Sundays off but managed to get Wednesdays off for now aswell which is good.

Dressed up as police women this weekend for our club which was fun and been in a local newspaper out here, just a picture from one of the nights in the club, lol. Errrm what else has happened?? O I tried dying my hair blonde and went ginger and had to suffer with it for a week til the salon could sort it out haha and went to see Billy Elliot in theatre for Amys bday treat which was good.

We got kicked out of our flat last week by our psycho flat mate. Long story but basically he wasnt paying the landlord rent so we had to be out by Fri, he went out got drunk, came back and went mad chucking our clothes and stuff out. Nightmare!! but we are safe and sound in our mates flat on Bondi Beach for now until we find somewhere else. So we are considering moving on from Sydney soon!!!

Not much else to report, just been doin the usual daily routines most people do. I really should do some sight seeing soon aye!!

Missing everyone more than ever and waiting to hear when my Uncle Brent and Jo have their second baby!! any day now.... :) xxx

4 months in....

So its been 4 months since I have been away from home. 4 months since Ive seen my mummy and daddy, been partying with my friends, watched hollyoaks, had a proper days work, its been 4 months and its gone soooo quick yet it seems soooo long since ive seen anyone!! I have done so much in the past 4 months though and met so many cool people who I will hopefully keep in touch with. Ive been jungle trekking, rode elephants, held and fed monkeys, been on loads of speedboats, experienced 2 full moon parties, camped on an island, seen the most amazing beaches, been on a boat party, moved into a flat, been to a huge music festival and so much more....so far its been an amazing experience and lets hope the fun continues...

This weekend we went to the Future Sound music festival up the road from me which included such people as Eddie Halliwell, the Chemical Brothers and Roger Sanchez, siiiick!! Me and Aim went as a last minute thing and got a ticket on the door and made t-shirts with paint and wrote "lets go f*ckin mental" on the backs lol!! We got there at 5pm and the sun was shining and everyone was partying like mad!! there were loads of different tents all playing such wicked house, techno, funky music, I was in my element!! And apparently there was a rollerskating disco there which Im moritfied that I didnt know about!!! anyway it was a wicked day...well most of it...long story lol!
and friday night we went round the guys flat in Bondi for a few beverages and a few games of cards then me and Amy met the other guys in one of the backpacker bars where we played pool and had a laugh! So today, as u can imagine, Ive been catching up on sleep and relaxing!!

catch up...

Havent updated in a while-oops! But not loads has been happening to be honest. Just living a normal life again really, back to normality from Thailand. The weather is up and down, some days beautiful sun where I can sunbathe on my balcony with a few glasses of wine (yum) but other days its pissing down and stormy. But it's not cold at least.
So what have I been up to the past month...? Working alot really, 6 days a week but part time hours which is cool as this gives me time to do things in the afternoon. Enjoying my job and get on well with the girls. Went out at the weekend with a work mate Rae, she's 29 and from New Zealand. Me and Amy took her out and we all got very drunk yayyy!! I ended up getting home and crashing out on the kitchen floor where Amy had to drag me across the floor to get me into bed, lol. The hangover the next day wasnt pretty!!
Me and Amy went to see the Backstreet Boys in concert last week ha ha!! was a random thing which eneded up being fun as we felt like teenagers again singing along to there old songs and dancing. Was a good night!
We are now living in our flat alone as the landlord has gone NZ for a month and the Korean couple found somewhere else to stay-yayyy!!
Our old flat mate Alison takes us places sometimes, like into Kings Cross to look at the markets and visit a British Lolly Shop (mmm) and she took us to a DVD store where its all done by machine, weird. Went out in Kings Cross (bascially the Soho of London) with a few mates which was a laugh but too many hookers standing about, gross!!!
Oh yeah Valentines day I returned home from work to find a big bunch of flowers for me from a guy I met in Thailand, was chuffed!! and the girls being single went out for drinks that night all dressed in red!! :)
Ohhh I also officially see the biggest spider ever and it was in my flat!! it was a huntsman spider and was F##kin huge and when I went towards it, it jumped off the wall and I freaked out so wrote my housemate a letter to kill it b4 I got home from work, pheeew!!!
Spent a couple of afternoons on the beach, although i still havent got in the sea as the waves are scary out here!! Went to a mates flat warming party, been cooking, going gym and not much else to be honest.
Missing everyone as per usual massively. Got Amys birthday coming up in a couple of weeks so Im working hard trying to organise a few suprises which should be fun! Anyway thats all for now love you lots x x xx

the sun aint shining, the weathers not sweet...

Well...here I am in Australia in their peak summer and its pissing down with rain, stormy and cold!!! am experiencing there worst summer in 20 years and apparently they havent seen so much rain!! grrrrrreat! how bloody typical aye!!

Im still not impressed with sydney at all and with it raining theres not much to do apart from watch tv, work and get pissed!

Went to a Wildlife Centre the other day and oh my god i see the most horrrrrible spiders ever!! the deadliest in the world and the BIGGEST black spider I have ever seen. It wasn't nice and I got goosebumps and got scared the glass might crack open and they all jump out onto me!! I also held a snake, think he said it was some sort of python (but obviously not deadly) and i cacked myself. He went to put it round my neck but I freaked so held it and still freaked and dropped the front of him so his tail wrapped round my arm, ewww was shiteing myself! We also see Koalas and Kangaroos yay!!

I started my new job in a beauty salon round the corner from me which I'm really enjoying and the girls are really nice there too!! Other than that I havent really done much but hang out with our Irish mates, boozing (my god they can drink alot!!!) and getting sore feet from getting used to wearing high heels again.

I want to move on from Sydney soon I think as this place really aint all what its cracked up to be.
