a new beginning....

So I have finally left Sydney!!! wahoooo!!! and my best bud Nic has arrived which is cool. I left my job about a week ago now which was actually really sad as I loved it there and will miss the people looooooads!! So we all went out for my leaving do to the city. We started off in the beauty salon getting ready and drinking then went to a bar for a few then onto this gorgeous bar/club called The Ivy which was white, with white pillars and Ivy goin up the sides and water features, it was niiiice!! Had a good night in there and my mates joined me later on.

Slowly but surely me and my flat mates all started to leave one by one and Sam (one of my room mates) went onto Perth which me and Jay were really sad about coz we were the terrible threesome!! but Jays cousin Stacey, and girlfriend Sarah arrived who are absolute angels. Such lovely girls, and they're Irish so they love a drink and a party!!

So us four eventually moved out of the flat in Bondi Beach and moved in a backpackers. I have managed to last 8 months without having to stay in a backpackers but now its the only way forward. Is a bit pants sometimes sharing a room with 6 people, some of whome you dont know and having to live out a suitcase realllllly sucks because its always the thing you want that is right at the bottom of the bag, typical!! I said goodbye to my close workmate Rae which was horrible, we were in tears. Sucks that ive made such a good friend that lives the other side of the world from me...but I'm sure we will meet up again someday.

So now I am travelling up the East Coast of Australia (The Gold Coast) for 2 weeks. We started off in Byron Bay for 2 nights which was really cool. Only a tiny little town and after our 12 hour journey on the bus we were pretty knackerd our first night but day 2 we visited a place called Nimbin which is like a hippy town and yes its known for the hippies selling weed and hash cakes and stuff, lol!! crazy little place. After there we headed with our group to this lake which was absolutely stunning and had a bbq their. We ended our trip at a waterfall but unfortunately was wayyyy to cold for anyone to jump in (yup the weathers still pretty crap) So we were out last night with our group and back to the group leaders house for a booze up and now today we have arrived in Surfers Paradise! so the adventure continues, next stop is Noosa then camping in Frasier Island for 2 nights on the beach, should be fun!!!xxx

3 weeks to go...!!!

3 weeks til im off and out of sydney, wahoooo!!! going up to Cairnes to see the sun and beaches again and i cant wait!! Nic arrives in jst under 3 weeks so thats exciting stuff. Been saving lots and out with flat mates a bit.

Went out with work at the weekend for what they call "high tea" which was nice. Is basically tea and sandwiches and cakes, oooooh how civilised! no but it was a nice day with them all!!
Not loads to report as usual, same old same old. Im slowly but surely learning to cook (or so i thought until i burnt a stew last week, ha how can u burn stew, im useless lol!)

Most the guys im staying with leave in a weeks time which will be sad but not too long til im off myself. So hoping to take a few weeks out to party and finally explore australia!!

o yea u may notice i dyed my hair, couldnt afford being a blondie so o well im dark again. and i broke my camera and lost the chip so dont have lots of pics but im slowly building them up again.

update...

hey jst a quick update as i think my time on the internet is nearly over. Errrm im getting on well living with the guys and working 6days a week now to earn money for when Nic is here!!

went to Taronga Zoo at the weekend which was funny!!witnessed some gross things like an elephant pooing and his mate coming up and eating it, erm a chimpanzee had his finger up him bum (nice), a hippo had his willy hanging out lol, and loads of gross stuff happened that day!! was fun though, see a seal show, bear, tiger, kangas and koalas and lots of scary spiders n stuff!!

have been staying in alot to save money so spending my nights chilling with the guys really.

went out with work mate and got battered at the weekend after work, errrrm....what else what else, not much really. Weathers not cold but not hot!!i hear england is having a heatwave, how nice. miss you all anyway and will update again soon.xxxxanother dress up night

The weather has turned cold and miserable here in Sydney which sucks coz I know now its gonna start getting warmer back home!! Quite a bit has happened in the past month. Will explain briefly then stick some pics on. Sorry I havent updated in ages but have been soooo busy working I havent had much time.

Amys Bday was on the 22nd March and we all dressed up as cartoon characters/super heros. We had Rainbow Brite (Amy), The Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland (me), Alice in Wonderland, Batman and the Riddler, Peter Pan, Fred Flinstone, Lara Croft and more...it was a fab night. We got a limo to this club and partied all night to the wicked House music!!! Me and Amy have also got ourselfs jobs at this club promoting it which is cool. And it means free entry and free booze (wahooo!!!) so we have made lots of friends who also work here and stuff which is all good.

My mate from Perth (shane) came down for Easter weekend which was cool so had fun with him and bumped into a face from home (Ryan Flemming) which is pretty random. Had a couple of BBQ's with Amys family over here and with friends and been chilling most nights really.

My job has become full time now as one of the girls left so I only get Sundays off but managed to get Wednesdays off for now aswell which is good.

Dressed up as police women this weekend for our club which was fun and been in a local newspaper out here, just a picture from one of the nights in the club, lol. Errrm what else has happened?? O I tried dying my hair blonde and went ginger and had to suffer with it for a week til the salon could sort it out haha and went to see Billy Elliot in theatre for Amys bday treat which was good.

We got kicked out of our flat last week by our psycho flat mate. Long story but basically he wasnt paying the landlord rent so we had to be out by Fri, he went out got drunk, came back and went mad chucking our clothes and stuff out. Nightmare!! but we are safe and sound in our mates flat on Bondi Beach for now until we find somewhere else. So we are considering moving on from Sydney soon!!!

Not much else to report, just been doin the usual daily routines most people do. I really should do some sight seeing soon aye!!

Missing everyone more than ever and waiting to hear when my Uncle Brent and Jo have their second baby!! any day now.... :) xxx
