End of the road...! :(

So here I am sitting in Sydney airport ready for my 24hour journey back home!! Can't believe the 3 1/2months are over so quickly! has absolutely flown by but have made some amazing memories and seen more of the world that I wanted to see!!

My last few days in Oz have been really fun! Me and Amy headed out to Darling Harbour where we met 2 Aussies chicks who took us under there wing for the night and showed us a good time!! :)
Then I spent Easter weekend with Pippa! We hit the beach on the Saturday with 2 of her friends Zoe and Kirby, and drank a few ciders..then me and Pip went for a bite to eat and Pimms!! I had my first order of calamari which was delicious!! then we crashed in the evening at hers with her flatmates with a film.
On the Sunday we got up and ready and out for a Sunday Sesh in Newtown with Emma, James and Mags.  We did a little bar crawl and got pretty damn drunk!! It was a very enjoyable day, ending with a Pie Face (ofcourse) and bed by midnight! lol..battered!!
On the Monday me and Pippa did some shopping in town which was nice (couldn't resist another gorgeous dress!!) and then we chilled at hers in the evening, where I was spoilt to a yummy pie and mash dinner!! sooo good!!
Really good to spend time with Pip and meet her friends, but soo sad to say goodbye and leave her!!

My last day in Oz I spent at work! haha! thought I'd save a few pennies for my antics when I get home so did a few hours work with Toms mum again then spent the remaining couple of hours sunbathing!! Me and Tom chilled out in the evening with a delcious Thai and movie where Amy joined us later.

So has been a nice end to an amazing trip!! I will put the remaining photos on soon but I have had a great time away, and now ready to head home and face reality again....at least until next time ;)

Thanks for reading my blog, hope you've enjoyed seeing what we have been getting up to xxx

Sydney, Australia

After a 8 hour flight from Singapore we arrived safely in sunny Sydney where Tom (amys friend) picked us up from the airport and took us back to his parents place where we were staying for our time in Sydney.
We were chuffed with the accomodation we got!! Our own bedroom, with the comfiest beds ever!!, a lounge with our own HUGE TV and more than 2 channels to choose from :), a little kitchen and toilet too!! soo nice to have space and normal things like a sofa to sit on! proper luxury!

I have spent 3 weeks here now and haven't been able to travel elsewhere in Australia as its so expensive to get around and my money has been dwindling out here!
So our 3 weeks here..

We went out on our first night to meet Amys friends over here at a place called the Crows Nest! that was a fun night and so many people to meet!! so funny hearing the ozzy accent again..definately feels very homely here!

I then spent the next day at the infamous Bondi Beach to see my friend Rowan who I met 5 years ago on my travels.  We sunbathed by the beach and then spent the afternoon with his flatmates drinking beer and playing pool! ha I became a lad for the day! we then headed out to the City to a place called Mrs Sippys, which played some really decent house music! and then onto The Sheef where the guys went to pull! ha! me Rowan and his friend Mitch ended the night with an amazing kebab and yummy chips :) was really nice to catch up with him again!

We met Hayley and James after they had been to their friends wedding.  We met them in the City (which is about a 15min bus ride from Birchgrove where we are staying) with a few of their English friends and hit Kings Cross (full of hookers and strip clubs lol) for drinks! We had a fun night getting rather tipsy on copious amounts of cocktails and finished off with my first Pie Face which is amazing!! England neeeeeds one of these!! Just a chicken and mushroom, or steak pie but tastes delicious and is sooo good after a night out drinking! yum! I have become a Pie Face addict since btw!

We spent a day on Bondi beach with Amys friend Amy! It was a scorching hot day so we basked away! this was our first attempt at getting in the sea over here where Amy (Oz) jumped right in while me and Aim dipped our feet, squealed at the coldness of the water and freaked out by the size of the waves! haha!

Me and Amy went for drinks after at a place called Bucket List where we enjoyed our first cider whilst we've been away, in the sun! we met our friend Will here who we had met in Vietnam and Laos and he took us out for the night.
We had amazing cocktails where he worked at Ravesie's and got very drunk with one of his friends! and then headed back to wills parents place to crash and wow it was amazing!!

I finally got to see Pip where we had a great weekend in the sun, catching up and had a night out in the Cross! we had started drinking in the park at 3pm and carried on into the night, so it was a funny night where we met two random guys from Kent who were a good laugh! and I crashed out at Pips that night, then we spent the day on a cute little beach near her! was so nice!
I met her last wkend aswell for day on the beach with her friend Jules and then we hit a rooftop bar for  Sunday evening Cocktails with her flatmate Emma.  Really nice to see her out here, see where she's living and get to meet her friends!

Me and Aim have been really lucky as Toms mum has lent us her car a fair few times since we've been here which has made it so easy to get around! We finally went to the Blue Mountains which we were meant to do 5 years ago when we were here! and they were amazing! we hiked through the woods for half hour, wondering where the hell the moutains were then come to this big open space which showed how high up we actually were and the views were really stunning! Alot of walking was involved where we come across several waterfalls..and see the Three Sisters rocks which are famous here in the mountains! That was a really nice day out and something that I wanted to tick off my list!

Amys birthday was last weekend so we had a fun day out! we went to sunbathe by Toms nans pool first then headed to Darling Harbour in the City for lunch and afternoon drinks! a few glasses of bubbly later we were late getting home and ready for her birthday dinner! but got there after a bit of rushing where we met 15 others for some grub! then hit the Argyl Bar in The Rocks where I danced all night long and got rather drunk! Was a good night!

I've spent alot of nights indoors believe it or not as I haven't had much money to go out all the time which has been a bit boring! lol! and so have decided to come home where I may aswell be with my friends and get back to reality! It really is expensive here though - $8 a glass of wine, $4 a loaf of bread, $3 a chocolate bar!! haha!

I have this Easter weekend left and then get my flight home next Wednesday afternoon which I am really looking forward to now! Have had an amazing trip but ready to get back now..!!
