Has been a while since I updated as internet has been poor and sooo much has been happening!!
So, after leaving Siem Reap in Cambodia we made our way back to Thailand, having a nightmare at the border crossing which took a good 4 hours to get through passport control, to then find out we only had 2 weeks back in Thailand instead of a month as there laws have changed!! And arrived in Koh Chang to meet my bro Ben, getting there pretty late!!
It was amazing seeing Ben there!! we stayed up the first night with a couple of beers and a quick catch up before heading to bed at Little Eden where I stayed 2 years ago, and waking up for a fresh day.
We spent our first day on Lonely Beach, South of Koh Chang where the sun was shining and had couldnt wait to have my first green curry being back in Thailand! delicious!

We went out for drinks that first night, getting on the buckets ofcourse, although Aims didn't feel well so headed home, leaving me and Ben to it for the night. We had a giggle, finding a mask (ofcourse) in the bar which Ben put on to horrify people, only to be horrified right back when a lady boy come over and put it on, posing, lifting his top up and dancing! gross!! the music was wicked in this bar and after coming back to our huts at 3am and hearing more music elsewhere we had to explore and see what party we was missing!...turned out it wasn't much so at least we knew we weren't missing out.

We went to explore another beach the next day, Khlong Prao, so took a long walk along the front, getting to a very small water crossing which was sooo deep a little thai man come along on his boat and ferried us across! quite amusing...we had fun in the sun, making signs in the sand, and stopped for some grub later only to spot 2 people we knew from back home! Jan and Leanne Holmes. Lol! such a small world...after chatting to them we ended our strenuous day with a nice £5 massage and chilled at night with a movie at 'cooch corner' in Little Eden and food :)

On the Monday we caught some more rays on the beach and very much looked forward to the party at night time as Ben knew the DJ, Danny Rampling, and knew it would be good music! Better still they were playing at a venue that I had been to years ago when it was dead but had said back then what a wicked party venue it would make, right on the beach, open air, raised platforms :) We got on the buckets again and had a wicked night dancing to some decent house music and meeting random weirdos along the way!! This was one of the best nights for us whilst being back in Thailand, the music could not be beaten.
chilling before hitting the party

The next few days we went to Khlong Phlu waterfall which was very nice, chilled at Little Eden with the host David who was hilarious! such a scatty man with the funniest cat who literally laid anywhere, and THE best Thai food ever!! he's wife's green curries just cannot be beaten!! AND I even tried prawns and enjoyed them so much I ordered my own dish the next night!! this is a first for me eating seafood!! :)
Ben even ate fried crickets here..and enjoyed them! he said they tasted like crispy burnt chips lol! yum! i couldnt bring myself to do it!!

We went elephant trekking one morning and got to bathe the elephants too which is amazing! they squirt you with water and you got to feed them aswell! such a cool place to do the trekking, in the jungle, as they seem happy here and not chained up or treated badly like at other places.
off we set on the hefalumps!

having a bathe
We sadly had to leave Little Eden after 5 nights as David was fully booked, so we headed further up the island to another little hut on the beach but found it wasn't as busy here at night! So we spent a couple of nights exploring other beaches (cha chet, khlong prao, white sands) to see if there was many parties happening here but Lonely Beach (where we originally was) was definately the place to party. So we made our own fun, enjoyed dinners and drinks and horrified passing neighbours with our masks at night! lol.
normal one minute...
and then it turned midnight..!!

can u imagine the peoples faces when they walked past to see us like this!!priceless!
haha!!
lines of haribo! every flavour in one mouthful..yum! :)
We got a kayak out for a few hours one day, and headed over to 2 small islands which took about half hour to get to. The first little island was cool but had a few people on it :( and was very stony. We had a little dip anyway, but decided to head over to the more deserted island around the corner which we named Koh Hibbed! This was a pretty cool place as we were literally the only people on it and even shoooed passing kayakers away, saying it was far too rocky to moar up and pointed them to the other island! haha!! we listened to some tunes and chilled, shortly after spotting a passing Thai man on his little boat fishing! we called him over and asked him to tie our kayak to his boat so he could pull me and amy back on it, and let ben have a fish with him on his boat! he agreed to it and so we were chauffeured back to shore! :) the guy had caught quite a few squid which were gross and we did get some funny looks by people on the beach when they see us being towed back in! but am glad we did though because the second we got off it started to rain..!

Our last day here, Ben decided to go shoot some guns at the shooting range! unfortunately me and amy couldnt jump in with his pick up truck so made our own way there, which turned out to be a bit of a mission as it was the other side of the island! so about 3 different taxi rides later we arrived just in time to see him shoot his MK5 (or something like that), shotgun and magnum..it looked well cool and we were glad to get there in time to take pics for him! getting back was a nightmare again but after waiting at the shooting range for an hour or so, talking to the owner there and helping another girl choose her guns, we got a taxi ride back!

Our last night in Koh Chang we had a few drinks and sheesa and I got the weirdest pinkest thickest cocktail in a wine glass which was hilarious!! We had a great time in Chang- parties, chilled, adventure, beaches, good food..but was time to move on to explore a different island. We rated our lunch and dinners each day here, and I am pleased to say that Little Eden got the overall top score, scoring an average of 8.5 out of 10 due to the amazing thai green curry and masaman! YUM!
